Panto Scripts for Sale or Commission

This is a page specifically for those either in professional or Am Dram groups that wish to find a good, modern script to use for their Pantomime or summer show.  The below scripts have all been sellout productions on a local level and a few on the Edinburgh and London Fringe circuit.  They are enjoyable family shows but with more than enough mischievous humour to keep the adults entertained.  They come with original music and songs as well as ideas for dance sequences.  I will soon make limited samples of the scripts available here on the website.  Alternatively, you can contact me directly.  If you are interested in one of my existing scripts I'm happy to lease its use for a nominal fee, but I am also open to writing scripts to specific commission.  This tends to remove the problem many groups encounter of finding a script that matches their membership, with plenty of good meaty parts for all levels.  Working with groups like this is something I very much enjoy, so again I will not charge a massive fee for doing so.  So please do peruse the below, and any enquiries, contact me via the tab on my homepage.  Thanks!

Zorro and the Seven daughters of Cid

When the evil duke Sid of Santa Lucia (formerly of Basingstoke) robs the poor Central American villagers of their ancient, sacred, culturally significant family treasures and takes their daughters as slaves, only one man can stop him and restore justice.  Can Zorro find the riches, free the slaves and save the villagers from their terrible fate?   Will he be seduced or bludgeoned into some unpleasant and unfortunate end? All shall be revealed through a combination of music, dance and nail-biting action.  Booty will be shaken, swashes will be buckled (and perhaps unbuckled) and maybe, just maybe, true love will triumph in the unlikeliest of places.

Ali Baba

Open sesame! These words are the key to a cave full of glittering treasures. When Ali Baba overhears the 40 thieves entering and leaving the cave, he is delighted with his find.  Little does he know of the dangers in store...

Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves is a cautionary tale of greed, the perfect play to be set against the backdrop of the recession and since this is an up to date story, don’t be surprised when 36 thieves have been struck by swine flu!  As if that wasn’t enough mayhem to convince you, would violence, butchery, ghosts and a love story do the trick?

Marion - Too Long in the Forest

After Robin’s untimely death of bird flu, an aging Marion must fight to save the kingdom one last time as the forces of evil close in on Nottingham.

Talking trees, Belgian pirates and toe-tapping dance numbers do not begin to adequately describe this experience.

Alice - Wonderland Calling

Alice is brought before the court of Wonderland with the white rabbit as her lawyer and the queen of hearts as the judge!  Watch her journey through Wonderland, but as you’ve never seen it before in this pantomime adaptation of the classic tale.

A Camelot Christmas

Winter in Camelot.  Arthur and Guineviere sit on the throne.

The knights have fallen out with the faeries who have imposed a winter that will not end.  It has been winter for about two years now and somebody is going to have to back down.  Arthur sends a messenger to the forest to invite the faeries to Camelot for peace talks and some mild dancing.  That messenger is the frog prince, a frog that, kissed by a princess turned into a prince.  the princess divorced him, and ever since,He has tried in vain to find a way to turn back into a frog again.  He is accompanied by his friend the serving girl who secretly loves him.  On the way, the two are waylaid by the feared Ninja of the Shadows who they convince to aid them in their quest.

Cinderella!

Cinderella unionises her woodland creature friends and dreams of building her own multi-national cleaning company but evil step relatives and a little thing called love stand in her way.
